Bertolotti aka GPR č nato nel 1976. Comincia ad interessarsi al dj-ing
all'etā di 12 anni. Agli inizi degli anni 90 ha lavorato in celebri
locali della sua Ragusa e la
sua musica al tempo era influenzata dalla Deep House e dalla BreakBeat.
nel 1996 entra nel mondo delle radio producendo i primi dj set per molte
emittenti siciliane.
Nel 1998 ha lavorato a Malta in locali come il "Bar Funk" e il
"The Places". Nel 1999 comincia a lavorare nella zona di
Taormina sotto lo pseudonimo "Gianpier" e collabora con
prestigiosi gruppi organizzativi: With Love, Atmosphere(AFC),
Artinnovative and Zero Nove e molti altri. Questo gli da la possibilitā
di lavorare in famosi locali notturno come il Marabu', il Taitu', il
ToutVa, il Capannone/The End dove conosce deejay's del calibro di come
Kenny Dope Gonzales, PastaBoys, Paolo Martini, Ivan Iacobucci, Ricky
Montanari, Kenny Carpenter, Joe Montana, David Piccioni... Nel
2003 inizia ad interessarsi ai sintetizzatori e agli strumenti virtuali
in genere, cominciando la sua carriera di produttore musicale. Nel 2007
esce la sua prima produzione "Ware EP" con la versione
"Doppelte Hand" su etichetta SUNPLAY. Nello stesso anno
nasce la sua etichetta digitale "GP EAR" e a Luglio produrrā
per tale etichetta "Pendelbewegungen EP". Con questa
produzione comincia la collaborazione con il suo amico SAM PEREZ;
insieme produrranno per molte etichette come PyCairo, Makin' and
Rush. Nel 2008 comincia la sua collaborazione con il gruppo House Made
In Italy e sarā protagonista in console al primo Kosmoparty in Sicilia.

Bertolotti aka GPR was born at Ragusa (Italy) in 1976. He began the
passion for the art of djing at the age of 12. In the beginning of the
90s, he work in popular night clubs of his hometown and was influenced
by Deep House and BreakBeat. In 1996 he enter in the world of radio
where his dj sets has broadcast in many networks of Sicily. In 1998, has
performed in the night club how the "Bar Funk" and "The
Places" in Malta. In 1999 he started to working in the area of
Taormina with the pseudonym "Gianpier" and collaborates with
the prestigious groups how: With Love, Atmosphere(AFC), Artinnovative
and Zero Nove, and many others. This gave him the possibility to work in
popular clubs of Sicily how the Marabu', Taitu', ToutVa, Capannone/The
End where he knows many national and international celebrities such as
Kenny Dope Gonzales, PastaBoys, Paolo Martini, Ivan Iacobucci, Ricky
Montanari, Kenny Carpenter, Joe Montana, David Piccioni, and many more.
In 2003 start his passion for the Synths and Virtual Instruments where
he get the electro influences which then bring in the world of Techno.
In 2007 comes out his first production "Ware EP" with the
"Doppelte Hand" project on the label SUNPLAY. In the same year
was born his digital label "GP EAR" and at July comes out the
project "Pendelbewegungen EP". With this project began the
collaboration with his friend producer SAM PEREZ and together they made
several releases on the labels: PyCairo, Makin' and Rush. In 2008 starts
to work with the group "House Made In Italy" and participates
in the first Kosmoparty of Sicily.
